Who is Brick Club for?
Brick Club is designed for primary school-aged children (5–12) who experience challenges with social communication. It is particularly well suited to children with:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- ADHD
- Social communication difficulties
No prior LEGO® experience is needed — just a willingness to build and connect. Children do not need a formal diagnosis to participate.
How Does Brick Club Work?
Each session, children work together in small groups to build LEGO® models, taking on rotating roles that require real teamwork and communication:
The Engineer
Reads the building instructions and directs the group — developing language, sequencing, and leadership skills.
The Supplier
Finds and sorts the correct LEGO® pieces — building attention, listening, and following directions.
The Builder
Assembles the model based on the Engineer’s directions — practising turn-taking, patience, and collaborative problem-solving.
By rotating through these roles, every child gets the opportunity to practise a range of social communication skills in a way that feels natural and enjoyable — because the focus is on building together, not on therapy.
What Will My Child Gain?
Brick Club targets real social communication goals within a fun, structured environment. Children who participate typically develop:
- Turn-taking and cooperative play skills
- The ability to give and follow instructions
- Joint attention and shared focus
- Confidence in group social situations
- Friendships with like-minded peers
- Problem-solving and flexible thinking
Evidence Based & Expert Led
Brick Club is based on the Brick-by-Brick® programme developed by Dr Daniel LeGoff, which has a strong and growing evidence base for improving social competence in children with ASD and related conditions. Our Brick Club is facilitated by Tatiana Sansaloni, a Certified Brick-by-Brick® therapist, ensuring your child receives therapy that is both expertly delivered and genuinely fun.
