Social Communication

Social communication is the set of unwritten rules that govern how we interact with others — knowing when to speak, how to read facial expressions, how to start and end a conversation, and how to adapt our language to different situations. For children and teenagers who find these skills difficult — whether due to ASD, language differences, or other factors — social situations can feel confusing and exhausting. At Speech Alive, we offer both individual therapy and group sessions specifically designed to build these skills in a supportive, real-world context where practice feels natural and confidence grows.
